Social Good Nigeria joins the board of the Nigeria Stop TB Partnership (NSTBP) to complement her strive to end the scourge of tuberculosis in Nigeria and globally. The board was inaugurated on the 13th of May 2015 in Abuja.

The Global Stop TB Partnership is a global platform that is leading the way to a world without tuberculosis (TB). Founded in 2001, the Partnership’s mission is to serve every person who is vulnerable to TB and ensure that high-quality treatment is available to all who need it.

The NSTBP was established to create a massive movement of organizations and individuals in Nigeria committed to the fight against TB in order to “work-our-talk”, bolster action and leverage resources for TB elimination by 2050. In 2007 a task force was set up to develop the constitution, a strategic plan and to conduct elections of executive members of the Partnership.

After many years of preparations, Nigeria Stop TB Partnership has joined the global community of TB Stakeholders to ensure that resources, treatment care and support are provided to patients living with the disease across Nigeria. Together with 1300 partners in more 100 countries, The Nigeria Stop TB Partnership will become a collective force that is transforming the fight against TB in Nigeria.

Social Good Nigeria team member, Jeremiah Agenyi, will be representing the team on the NSTBP Board.
